United Marriage Encounter and Marriage Encounter Support Foundation, is an international non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening marriages by helping couples learn practical, ongoing communication tools in a weekend marriage encounter based on Christian faith. The organization is supported by many volunteers who make up the core of “communities” located throughout the United States, Asia, and Europe. The organization, headquartered in Muscatine, Iowa, currently has a full/part time staff of six personnel and an annual working budget (UME and MESF) of about $660,000.
