Company Overview
The Vision of Transformation Church(TC) is to be a multiethnic, multigenerational mission-shaped community that loves God completely (Upward), ourselves correctly (Inward), and our neighbors compassionately (Outward). The vision of Transformation Church is birthed out of the very heart of Jesus (Matthew 28:18-20 and Matthew 26:37-40)
As a staff and a church we live out that vision through our core values. We are committed to a gospel-centered ministry from the nursery to the nursing home. We also believe that if our community doesn’t change because of our presence, we should just pack up and go home. So, we are committed to many ministries that bring hope, healing, unity, and justice to our community.
Situated just minutes from Charlotte on the border between North and South Carolina, Transformation Church is led by Dr. Derwin L. Gray, and it began with a group of 178 people who believed in God’s vision to be a multiethnic, multigenerational, mission-shaped community. God provided and transformed a warehouse with green Astroturf, batting cages, and no parking lot, into a worship space. On its first Sunday of services, February 7, 2010, the church welcomed over 700 people. Since then, TC has continued to grow exponentially, and thousands of ethnically and generationally diverse people have experienced the life-transforming love of Jesus.
