Company Overview
Our main vision for the trip is to see each participant take at least one permanent, significant step towards their likeness to Jesus Christ.
And while we think that this vision is a wonderful target to shot for, reading it provides little direction as to how that vision will be accomplished.
Our trip objectives begin to provide that direction.
The following 3 objectives will be the primary focus of our ministry. Everything we do in preparation for this trip as well as every aspect of the actual trip will focus on them, so it is vital that you/your team become very familiar with each objective.

We pray that as we all experience the power and character of God, radical decisions will be made and that lives will be changed forever. All resulting from each of us taking at least one permanent, significant step towards their likeness to Jesus Christ for His glory.
Logistical support and missions education/exposure are our "specialties." We help you plan and run mission events and short-term trips, teach and challenge your group about missions and evangelism and offer support in many other ways. Our efforts will help:
1. Develop spiritual life skills in your group:
By focusing each trip on the basics -- spiritual disciplines that are necessary both on and off the field -- we will help reinforce that which you are currently striving to instill in your group.
In this way we serve each participant.
2. Advance the work of local ministries:
By providing thoroughly equipped people resources, we will be able to offer encouragement and support for those missionaries already on the field.
In this way we serve our world.
3. Save you time:
By handling trip logistics, we free you up to focus on the discipleship of your group before, during and after the trip.

Company History
The Center for Short Term Missions is a division of the U.S. Center for World Mission. The U.S. Center for World Mission was founded by Dr. Ralph Winter almost 30 years ago and is located in Pasadena, CA. The U.S. Center for World Mission's goal is to find new ways to equip, empower and encourage missionaries, mission agencies, and churches in their efforts to bring the gospel to un-reached people groups, and to help motivate others to join them. Bob & Lauren Wrights' time in full time youth ministry began in 1991. For ten years their ministry highlights seemed to focus around short term mission trips and student leadership development.
The Lord's next step for them was the opportunity to work with youth pastors for four years of supporting them as they prepared their teams for short term mission trips.
For the last eleven years Bob & Lauren Wright have had the privilege of starting up and leading an organization called The Center for Short Term Missions. With each year growing in excitement from the last they find themselves looking forward to another year of God's wonderful blessing.
