- Manager of Projects and Events
Description
Christianity Today (CT) was founded by Billy Graham in 1956. Over the course of nearly seven decades, it has platformed the best of Christian thought and reported on the events and trends shaping the future of Christianity and its ministry to the world. Today, it is rapidly expanding its global storytelling, pressing into new media, and deepening its journalism and thought leadership. Christianity Today exists to advance the stories and ideas of the kingdom of God and to illuminate what it looks like to follow Christ faithfully in our time.
One of our signature undertakings in the years to come is elevating the ways we serve Christian thought leaders, pastors, and other church leaders through the Public Theology Project (PTP). The PTP will host a variety of voices that collectively exhibit the best of Christian thought and life. We believe the PTP will play an important role in reimagining and presenting evangelical leaders with a compelling vision for Christian public discourse and effective ministry.
Fifty percent of this position will be dedicated to organizing the events, meetings, and workflows of PTP Fellows Program/Leadership Resources Advisory Council, and stewarding other processes that will grow the PTP and extend its impact. The other half of this position will be spent managing internal and external events from the President’s Office, including semi-annual all-staff in-person gatherings, board meetings, and other events as necessary.
The Manager of Projects and Events will oversee workflow as it relates to programming for the Public Theology Project, assist in successful internal and external President’s Office event execution, and organize related project management systems.
